Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen Things About My Dogs 1. Their names are George, Lucy, and Walker. 2. George is a poodle, Lucy is a yorkiepoo, and Walker is a pekingese/pug. 3. My mother gave George to me. He's 11. 4. Lucy was a gift from L's grandmother. I strongly resisted getting another dog and in fact threatened L with loss of limb if he brought home a puppy. Of course that all changed when I saw the adorable little fluffball. 5. We inherited Walker from L's father when he passed away. 6. Walker is a jackass. He's a little bastard dog, and I love him anyway. He bites. He growls. He grumbles all the time. And he loves socks like they are meant for him and him alone. He has the most smooshable face ever, and his paws are enormous. 7. George is a canine pogo stick. He can jump as high as my shoulder. 8. Lucy has the longest eyelashes in creation, and she will love you forever if you will just rub her belly. 9. All George wants out of life is to be held. All the time. Forever. When we moved to Arizona, he sat in my lap in the moving truck the entire 75 million hours it took to drive there. 10. Lucy gets terribly car sick. 11. Sometimes Walker has to be sedated to get a haircut. Seriously, he's like a Tasmanian devil in so many ways. He tried to attack the groomer. But he's a lovebug at home. Since we inherited him last November, he's come a long way. A really long way. It's amazing, actually. Poor little bugger was not well taken care of before we got him, sadly. 12. Walker has short stubby legs and can't jump on the couch. It's funny to watch him try, though. He's built like a slinky. 13. Lucy likes to dig in the yard and chase her frisbee.
