Megan just pointed out to me that South Dakota's Governor, in his infinite ignorance, has passed legislation outlawing most abortions in the state. I feel like someone has just pressed the rewind button on the world and all the social advancements of the past 30 years have just been erased. It astounds me (though perhaps it shouldn't) that our government continues to legislate opinion. What is art? What is love? What can we believe? What can we do with our bodies? It all boils down to opinion, and in this case, the opinion that women shouldn't be allowed to decide what to do with their bodies has won. So, what can we do? Donate to Planned Parenthood.
